Fetch Rewards Explained: Where can you shop?
You can earn points for purchases made at thousands of stores across the United States, including major grocery chains like Walmart, Target, and Kroger. As I scroll through the app, I see opportunities for other stores like Walgreens, Whole Foods, Amazon, Blue Apron, Sam’s Club, and many other places. I have even scanned receipts from Aldi’s, Bojangles, and Domino’s Pizza.

Earn by scanning a receipt
There are several ways to earn points on Fetch Rewards. The easiest way to earn points is to scan your receipts. For every receipt you upload, you can earn points based on the products you purchased. The first time you scan a receipt, you will probably receive a bonus for signing up (and the person you sign up under should also receive a bonus). But there are no guarantees.
Fetch has a limit of 35 receipt scans per week. These scans are limited on a rolling basis, so you just need to keep track of when you upload your receipts. Also, they are very strict about making sure that you do not upload a duplicate receipt. So I just make a note on the back of my receipt once I have scanned it.
Earn by spinning the wheel
Every 24 hours, you get to spin the wheel to see if you will receive bonus points. There is a countdown timer to let you know when you can spin in again. So make sure that you have enough receipts to last you the next 7 days. Sometimes the bonuses are 5 points, but sometimes they can be larger. Generally, my rewards range between 5 and 25 points.
Make the most of your wheel spins. To ensure that I can use the timer each day, I try to keep a stash of a few days of receipts. So when the cashier asks you if you want a receipt, remember to say yes!
Earn using the Discover tab
You can also earn bonus points by participating in special promotions under the Discover tab. I click the button that says “High to Low” to see what offers have the highest rewards. TIP: Look to see if you are required to shop at a particular store. If Fetch Rewards has a store on the top, then you must make the purchase at that particular store.
Earn with GoodRx coupons
Under “My Account”, there is a section where you can see your GoodRX coupon code. Use this code at your pharmacy and you will earn extra points the first time that you use it, and a smaller amount each additional time. I personally do not use this, as I don’t want to share my medical information. Keep this in mind before sharing this yourself.
Earn by referring others to Fetch rewards
Another way to earn points is by referring friends to the app. For every friend that signs up using your referral code, you will earn bonus points.
How do you redeem your Fetch rewards?
Once you have collected enough points, it’s easy to redeem them for a variety of rewards. There are many redemption choices, including gift cards on Amazon, Target, Uber Eats, and Starbucks. To redeem your rewards, just go to “Rewards” at the bottom of your phone. Then select the reward you like the best. Fetch will send you your reward within a few days.
